Our new member, Annette Walsh, has already attended one AAUW function this summer, a reading group gathering and decided it was a nice way to spend a midweek afternoon with such good company, discussions, and food.
Annett has spent her early years in the Philadelphia area enjoying all it has to provide and has ended up in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
She was recently widowed for the second time and is thankful for her family and friends. Her family includes her 54 year old daughter and 52 year old son. Both live in the Philadelphia suburbs, and both have three children, so you know who the six most brilliant grandchildren in the world are.
Annette has worked in clerical and bookkeeping. Her college Spanish was used occasionally on the jobs. Her interests include a Pennsylvania senior citizen singing group which performs at nearby nursing homes and the like, a Democratic club, bowling, and mahjong which manage to keep this peppy, young lady busy as a bee.
Annette, welcome to our branch.
